Tomorrow I'm heading back to High School!
Not as a student (it was bad enough the first time) but as a teacher. It's just for one period teaching year 11 "The importance of movement in Drama". At first when I was asked I said Yes and then had a mini meltdown as I realised even though I got a band 6 in year 12 drama and finished first in my class, since then I haven't done a whole lot besides Brent Street drama which doesn't really count I don't think!?
So today I set aside my time to sit down and put together a lesson plan, and to my surprise I actually know a lot more than I thought. The plan is 8 pages long and I don't know if we'll even get time to do/discuss everything I have planned.

So now...
I'm a little excited...
I really do love teaching...
is this my calling?

Things I'll be enjoying on the 30th of May when this is all over!!!

Pressure with a side of anxiety!

I wise man once said "You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have" And this has become very true of me...
I am however sensing a anxiety driven breakdown some time in the next few months as I'm faced with the question 'what should I do next' and know matter how much study I seem to put in I still can not come up with the Answer.

University...? and if yes then what will I study? Education? Psychology? Nutrition? Business? all these things I'm interested in but If I chose to pursue all, would have a HEX debt more than I could ever imagine to pay off in my entire professional career.


More Travel...? I have been bitten by 'the bug' big time, but I'm not sure whether going travelling again would be the right decision or if it is better left to after I have a degree. If I do decide more travel is the way to go then where do I base myself? back in Europe as that is where my heart is, or try somewhere new like Canada or South America?


Or alternatively to all this stay in Port at La Vive Classique another year. I am in love with my job here, and I am saving a lot of money living rent free and having no real outlet to splurge money on. I could practically pay for university after another year here or a really amazing trip around the world!!


So there it is... the decision I need to make to define the rest of my life...

An Easter Surprise!

This Easter long weekend for me equals the first time I'll be seeing Dave since I cut off all contact with him 2 years ago.
It is also the weekend my best guy-friend is coming home from his awful job in Central Coast...
For those of you playing at home (cutting a LONG story short) Simon HATES David...

& Port Macquarie is a SMALL town

There is going to be at least one moment of awkwardness throughout this wonderful chocolate filled weekend.

I am NOT looking forward to this :-(

Being back in the Eisteddfod world has reminded me that I'm an incredibly competitive person...
